The site offers a searchable and filterable directory of verified tools, individual tool listing pages, a Start Here quiz that recommends tools based on your answers, and a form to submit new tools for review. The Compendium is free to use in its entirety. There is no subscription, no paid tier, no account required, and no payment of any kind is collected from visitors.
3. Tool Submissions
Anyone may submit a tool for consideration. Submission is free. By submitting a tool you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights. The Compendium reserves the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove any submitted tool at our sole discretion. Submission does not guarantee listing.
4. Advertising and Affiliate Relationships
The Compendium is supported by display advertising and affiliate commissions. Some links on the site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission when you click through and make a purchase. This does not affect the editorial integrity of our listings.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content on The Compendium — including tool descriptions, editorial content, the Start Here quiz, and site design — is owned by The Compendium and protected by copyright.
