Subscription and Refund Policy

1. Compendium Pro — What's Included
Compendium Pro is the paid subscription tier for The Compendium. Subscribers receive tool comparison mode to compare up to 4 tools side by side, saved tools to bookmark tools to a personal list, new tool alerts via email when new tools matching their setup are added, a monthly DM Toolkit email with curated tools for a specific monthly theme, priority tool submission with 72-hour review turnaround, and a Pro badge on submitted tools.
2. Pricing
Compendium Pro is available at $7.99 per month or $59.00 per year. All prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.
3. Billing and Renewal
Your subscription begins immediately upon payment and automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate. You will receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before your annual renewal date. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details on our servers.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings at /account. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period and you retain full Pro access until that date. After cancellation your account reverts to the free tier. You may also cancel by contacting legal@thecompendium.gg.
5. Refund Policy
Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase if you have not used any Pro features. After 14 days or after using Pro features annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
Exceptions: We will issue refunds for duplicate charges caused by a billing error on our part, charges made after a confirmed cancellation, and service unavailability lasting more than 72 consecutive hours. To request a refund under these exceptions contact legal@thecompendium.gg within 30 days of the charge.
6. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect. Your rate is locked for the current billing period and increases apply at the next renewal.
7. Free Trial
We may offer a free trial of Compendium Pro from time to time. Trial terms will be clearly stated at sign-up. At the end of the trial period your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.
8. Tool Submission Fees
Priority tool submissions are a one-time fee of $19 per tool. This fee is non-refundable once the review process has been initiated. If a tool is rejected a full refund will be issued.
9. Featured Listing Fees
Featured and category sponsor listings for tool creators are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months.
